Thomas Felder (Skip) Fields is a Macon, Georgia native who became enthusiastic about photography when he was a high school student in the school's camera club. He was a math and science teacher and an administrator for over thirty years. During the time he was a high school principal, computers began to emerge as possible educational tools. He was able to implement the first computer lab in the Macon, Georgia area where he introduced students in grades six through twelve to the potential power of the machines. Computers and computer programming evolved into a passion. He developed a second occupation creating programs for specialized business operations. Wow, this is a great photograph! This great old tractor is like a spectator watching the field, where it must have been put to work many times. And the colors and treatment are wonderful! LF

Cheryl, you're very kind. I must admit the photo is a composite. I photographed the tractor next to an old building in Macon and the farmland in south Georgia. The right rear tire on the tractor came from a third photo.
